Designed and taught 5 week course on digital imaging at Lancashire College culminating in a piece of public art; an animated DVD 'The Horrocks Project' . Projected DVD then shown as part of Transit of Venus celebrations at Astley Hall, Lancashire on 8 June 2004.

December 1999

Exhibited site-specific piece 'Kathryn 7lb 4oz' in foyer of biochemistry labs at University of Central Lancashire. This piece represented my daughter Kathryn by the proportion of the element carbon present in her birth weight.

Commissioned by the' Climate Change Explorer' project to work in residence with the Enironmental Change Network, a group of scientists looking at indicators of climate change.

Awarded bursary by the Arts and Humanities Research Board. MA in Creative Technology at Salford University.
Awarded Distinction.

Awarded research commission with Folly in Lancaster undertaking RE:GEN project researching use of opensource software in school project

April 2002 to April 2004

Awarded placement at Astley Hall in Chorley as part of Setting Up Scheme (SUS) run by the Arts Council England North West.

Resident artist at Salford University under AA2A scheme.

September 2001 to April 2002

Awarded placement on the 1st Out Bursary with the Irwell Valley Sculpture Trail located in Bacup.

September 2001 to April 2002

Part of an Artist led research project working in conjunction with the Turnpike Gallery in Leigh, based at Leigh Infirmary.
